We [[underlined in red]] went out in dinghy [[/underlined red]] to explore the coast of our Island [[strikethrough]] nearby [[/strikethrough]] An excellent sandy beach near by extending about 200 feet away and deepening there gradually to about 4 and 5 feet then deeper. Island is covered with [[strikethrough]] fr [[/strikethrough]] coniferae (Arbor vitae spruce, cedar etc) then following along rocky shore a pretty little detached islet with a channel just deep enough between to pass along with a rowboat, then another small inlet with pretty beach. then we see the full extent of so called [[underlined in red]] Sloop cove. [[/underlined in red]] It is much longer than we supposed and more inland there is a sandy beach and [[underlined in red]] suitable anchoring grounds [[/underlined in red]] The same can be said of [[underlined in red]] Smugglers harbor. [[/underlined in red]] There is a simple wooden camp house in Sloop Cove
