After lunch drove in big car [[red underline]] with George to Polo Grounds where Nina joined us later for Army and Navy football. Sherry, Hudson, Maxim, Emmet, Robins, Sellers, Craven, Hunt, Miller and Robins [[/red underline]] there with wives or daughters, all guests of [[red underline]] Secretary Daniels [[/red underline]] Every seat on stand occupied - about 40,000 in all! Weather threatened rain but did not rain but was dark and foggy. Very interesting game, well played. Army won. Afterwards drove to University Club in dense fog which made driving difficult. I took supper at University Club.

Nov. 29. Main part of day occupied writing my address for Am. Chemical Society relative [[red underline]] Naval Consulting Board. Paulus [[/red underline]] says he has his drum repaired with new welding and is trying it out.

Nov. 30. Corrected typewritten copies of address. Other time spent with cleaning up belated correspondence also reading reports and letters of Hooker and Royal Baking Powder 
Charge each one hour for today and yesterday.
