wrong bay, so we had to get out and do it over again for about 12 miles, pitching and rolling; then when we struck the [[red underline]] Neuse [[/red underline]] we still had the sea following us as in a funnel. Even in that [[red underline]] Adams Creek - some creek!  [[/red underline]] - about 2 miles wide the wind was following us. Shores are all wild woodlands. - probably swampy, but seem mostly made up for [[red underline]] Long Leaf Pine [[/red underline]] and Cedar
Quite handsome trees.
Then at setting sun finally found excellent shelter in some little bay at head of Adams ^[[Creek]] Creek - called Jerry's Bay.
Close to the wooded flat shores. Happy it is all over and yet thankful for the experience
