This morning we felt enterprising so we had [[strikethrough]] bo [[/strikethrough]] eggs and bacon and hot coffee for breakfast. Quite some acrobatics to handle them and then eat them sitting on the companion way of the fo'castle Plate in my lap, a watchful eye on the cup of coffee, lest a lurch should spill it and hurried swallowing of it all before some roll has spilled it.

I am getting used to rough yachting - founer conference in this line seems rather tame now. This is undoubdetly a manly sport if carried out in such a way as to make is as strenuous as our conference is now. Made several photographs of waves altho' this requires some rapid aerobatics. In the afternoon regained a glimpse of land in the distance Wind is increasing until it blows a violent breeze or half a gale but by this time we are used to all this.
