[[/red underline]] Very attentive audience subject [[red underline]] synthetic resins. [[/red underline]] Informal talk [[strikethrough]] wit [[red underline]] excellent exhibit. Nov. 18. A day of rest, walking thru Detroit. Met [[red underline]] D. M. Ferry and Lem Bowen. [[/red underline]] Family quarrels between them and [[red underline]] Elon H. Hooker seem far from settled. [[/red underline]] Evening went to

Detroit [[/red underline]] is undoubdetly a [[red underline]] prosperous city since automobile industry became so intensely developed. People everywhere seem happy and prosperous. On the other hand [[/red underline]] am astonished to see graduate engineers [[strikethrough]] offer their services [[/strikethrough]] [[red underline]] of five [[/red underline]] year's experience offer their services [[red underline]] for $125 a month provided they have to do no draughting. [[/red underline]]

Nov 19. (Sunday) The plant of [[red underline]] Hooker Electrochemical Co. has become very imposing.[[/red underline]] It now covers over [[red underline]] 30 acres. [[/red underline]] Enormous buildings with chimneys everywhere. hardly [[red underline]] find my way among them. [[/red underline]]
