meeting Hewlett tells me nitrate ammonium explosives are main reliance for bulk of explosives in armies of Allies. Lord Fletcher Moulton told him:  "This war [[strikethrough]] shall be [[/strikethrough]] must be won with ammonium nitrate!" confirming my own opinion on this subject.
