Nov 25 (Sunday). Rather cold last night. Northern blowing this morning but sun warms everything up. A walk thru [[red underline]] West Palm Beach, [[/red underline]] pretty little town living mostly of tourists trade. Some pretty stores in town many bicycles and autos and garages. Also much auto and sporting supply stores. One prettily situated hotel "Saltan" 
Hibiscus and other plants flowering and coco-nut trees everywhere. Walked over bridge to

the beach. [[red underline]] The two enormous hotels are not yet open. [[/red underline]] 
Very pretty walks everywhere among palms and coconut palms etc. A number of pretty cottages. Pretty beach beautiful blue water which with blue sky makes a lovely picture. At pier some fishermen were catching many good sized fish. 
Sent out Albert for a walk and after he came back left at 2 P.M. Northerly winds following us. Sunny weather but not warm. [[red underline]] Lake Worth's water is brown instead of clear and blue probably [[/red underline]] due to inland rivers. 
Then entered another canal and about 5 P.M. anchored at a pond called [[red underline]] Lake Wyman, [[/red underline]] [[strikethrough]] with a [[/strikethrough]] in the dredged cut across it. Wild
