Aug 10. Another very hot day.  
First visited the enormous plant of [[red underline]] Fisher Brothers [[/red underline]] Body Co. formerly manufacturer of automobile [[red underline]] bodies [[/red underline]] but now entirely occupied by construction of airplanes Haviland type. [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] Saw first beginning construction of a [[red underline]] large Caproni [[/red underline]] built stronger to stand stress of Liberty Motor which has higher power than originally 175 h.p. motors for which it was designed.
Afterwards went to flying field to see some machines tested there. 
Then to [[strikethrough]] Lilc [[/strikethrough]] Lincoln Co.

This enormous plant has been built by Mr. [[red underline]] Leland [[/red underline]] formerly President and principal stockholder of [[red underline]] Cadillac Motor Co [[/red underline]] who retired from business several years ago after selling out his interests.
The man is of striking personality [[red underline]] 72 years old, [[/red underline]] tall and slender. White hair, white moustache and ditto goatee and dark eyes. He build [[red underline]] the plant on his [[/red underline]] own risk not knowing exactly what he wanted except that from the beginning of the war he wanted to make it his last life effort to [[red underline]] help the Allies in their fight [[/red underline]] against brutality and injustice.  Then later when the [[red underline]] Liberty Motor [[/red underline]] project was brought out he began installing
