Arrived at [[red underline]] Westport Inn [[/red underline]] about 6 P.M. Place rather crowded with guests but got neat little room. Beautiful sunset. Loud [[red underline]] talking of silly women in hotel till midnight and later made sleep impossible Some people are selfish and rudely inconsiderate beyond belief. [[/red underline]] Watched my watch now and then so as to make sure to meet [[red underline]] Celine [[/red underline]] at station in time.
At 3:00 A.M. made up my mind to dress. Got in car which I had left on street so as to have it more handy. Beautiful moon light and starlit sky Rays of Northern light Drove to station much ahead of time. Waited

there till arrival of train.
[[red underline]] Station master is a boy of about 24 years old. [[/red underline]] Was asleep all dressed on hard table near [[red underline]] telegraph [[/red underline]] instruments which [[red underline]] kept ticking all the time. [[/red underline]] I was all alone in station. This shows me [[red underline]] how easy it is for station robbers to carry out their nefarious jobs. [[/red underline]]
Finally at 4:20 A.M. train arrives but [[red underline]] Celine [[/red underline]] is not in it. Young station master tells me she may [[strikethrough]] perhaps [[/strikethrough]] come perhaps with next train at 11:30 A.M. So I drive back to hotel wondering what may have happened or is it a misunderstanding.
Went back to bed and slept till 9 AM.
Aug 27. [[red underline]] Celine [[/red underline]] arrived with the 11:30 A.M. train. Lunch
