a motor cabin cruiser, with some of the features of a houseboat is anchored near by. Seems about 60 feet long. Went out in dinghy with motor picking [[underlined in red]] sponges [[/underlined in red]] in the waters near by. We simply walked in the water and by means of [[strikethrough]] water [[/strikethrough]] glass ^[[Bottom]] - pail picked out those [[underlined in red]] sponges [[/underlined in red]] we think best. and put them aboard dinghy. Albert will rot and clean them while he is in Miami after I leave. At 4:55 lifted anchor and proceeded Northwards, at 6:30  P. M [[strikethrough]] dropped [[/strikethrough]] intended to drop anchor [[strikethrough]] beyond [[/strikethrough]] in the lee of the [[strikethrough]] Island [[/strikethrough]] ^[[small]] key of the [[underlined in red]] Stirrup Keys. boat off astern in 6 feet of water. Then went again to head and left at 6:15 [[/underlined in red]] AM further north. Engine behaves excellently, altho we have [[underlined in red]] contrary winds [[/underlined in red]] that once in a while send the spray over the bow. While running full speed caught a good size [[underlined in red]] porpoise [[/underlined in red]] on our troll squid. The weather is dry and sunny but for a rather [[underlined in red]] cool Northern. [[/underlined in red]] Albert and I take turns at the wheel. and we keep going uninterruptedly for 13 1/2 hours till we dropped anchor while it was entirely dark. about 2 miles from [[underlined in red]] Elliots Beach [[/underlined in red]] in 12' feet depth.
