does not change in the light and that we have it ready since many years but for the fact that we hesitate somewhat of bringing it in the trade since some of the first samples showed cracks after six months or a year. But that now we have overcome this trouble but [[red underline]] are still hesitating until a longer time test has removed all doubts. [[/red underline]]

from [[red underline]] paraldehyde [[/red underline]] or its polymer [[red underline]] paraldehyde [[/red underline]] + phenol in presence of HCL. If quantities of aldehyde are small enough a [[red underline]] fusible resin results. if not it is [[red underline]] infusible. [[red underline]]
Gothelf following out my former suggestions [[red underline]] has mixed the fusible resin with hexa [[/red underline]] and also with [[red underline]] paraform [[/red underline]] and we obtain thus an [[red underline]] infusible product in two steps. [[/red underline]] He also made a molding mixture with wood flour 50:50. which showed tensile strength of over [[red underline]] 4000 lbs [[/red underline]] Electrical qualities too seem promising. I was specially impressed with the fact that when I took the stick made from aqueous solutions it electrized on rubbing.
