Afternoon there was a reception at New York Public Library and there [[red underline]] Ambassador de Cartier [[/red underline]] introduced me to the [[red underline]] Queen [[/red underline ^[[Queen Elisabeth]] who made the impression of a [[red underline]] pleasant, tactful, cheerful and distinguished woman. [[/red underline]] simply but tastefully dressed. She is of less than average height and thus so much the more a contrast to her husband. She has kind blue eyes and a rather large mouth showing to fine rows of teeth whenever she smiles which happens frequently. She is [[strikethrough]] better [[/strikethrough]] decidedly better looking than her photographs. The [[red underline]] king smiles [[/red underline]] seldom and always has that same [[red underline]] serious honest [[/red underline]] direct look which is very impressive. His [[red underline]] sun-tanned [[/red underline]] face, and fair hair and blue grayish eyes give together with his unusual size a picture of [[red underline]] rugged, healthy manhood [[/red underline]]
