Went also to Mr. [[red underline]] Merten Sturges.  Commissioner of Naturalization [[/red underline]] in New York 5 Beekman Street to get his advice about my naturalization papers. Left him copies of the documents and correspondence. He thinks matter can be straightened out Friday next at the session in White Plains. [[red underline]] Short but courteous [[/red underline]] interview.

tired and restless but got thru my routine work
Dec.7 (Sunday) Here all day.  
Dec. 8. To dentist for examination Then lectured in [[red underline]] Columbia on bakelite. [[/red underline]] Then back home all afternoon.
Dec.9 Took 9 A.M train for [[red underline]] Perth Amboy [[/red underline]] and spent all day at factory. Afternoon took Dill around in a hurry. Evening supper at University Club
Dec. 10. Met [red underline]] Townsend & Neave with Rossi [[/red underline]] & May to discuss controversy with Beams of [[red underline]] Westinghouse [[/red underline]] on subject of [[red underline]] benzol in varnish [[/red underline]]
then meeting with Hamman and Schleussner in regard to [[red underline]] bonus [[/red underline]] and sale of railroad bonds
Back here at 3:00 P.M to dictate letters
