[[underlined]] Jan 25. [[/underline]] (Sunday) It became uncomfortably cold last night. This morning in peeping thru the window I see a frozen and snowy landscape. [[/underlined in red]] Around Washington [[underlined in red]] Potomac and other waters [[/underlined in red]] are [[underlined in red]] frozen over. What a change in 24 hours [[/underlined in red]]

Colder and more wintery in New Jersey. Arrived New York two hours late. [[/underlined in red]] Snowing beautiful landscape. House warm & comfortable except for [[underlined in red]] white bathroom which is all in process of renewal.
