Rather dusty every where. heavy spring or fall clothes. Cannot imagine why some of these villas are located next to noisy and dusty electric cars and railroad. [[underlined in red]] Beach [[/underlined in red]] very [[underlined in red]] poor and [[?]] [[/underlined in red]] only a few hundred feet between granite rocks and heavy undertow in water altho' relatively calm weather. Went driving around in a horse carriage. Lunch at Gran Hotel where the elite assembles. Reminds somewhat of our [[underlined in red]] older type of summer hotels + palms and better service. Men and women, young and old make a good impression physically and other wise.
