Left at 9:00 A.M down stream, weather more cheerful engine humming lustily everything going well rounded [[red underline]] Seabrooke Light [[/red underline]] House at 12:15 a brisk Eastern breeze on Port quarter and by and by sun came out, rather large waves following us or smashing against hull. past [[red underline]] Stratford [[/red underline]] Shoal at 4:35 then same course towards [[red underline]] Execution Rocks [[/red underline]] light, and getting stronger. [[strikethrough]] dia At [[/red underline]] The day getting too far advanced decided to run into [[red underline]] Huntington Bay [[/red underline]]

and at 7:00P.M anchored around sand spit of [[red underline]] Lloyds Harbor. [[/red underline]] strong Eastern blowing nice [[?]] but rather cold weather.
Aug 20. Up at 6:00 AM. sunny weather, strong Eastern breeze Afternoon tried to start but three cylinders of engine failed to work and the three others feebly after much trying we found the course of the trouble. Temporary plug in temporary air take had been swallowed up by suction cutting off 3 cylinders! Then tried engine which ran well as expected carburetor and went for anchor before [[red underline]] Northport [[/red underline]]
Aug 21. Left about 7:30 Strong NE breeze blowing and gray rainy weather. Spent all run adjusting carburetor. Smoke and exhaust gas in engine room last night and yesterday gave us headache and sore throat
