Again a delightful experience. Went ashore with [[red underline]] Celine to visit Annapolis Academy. [[/red underline]] Excellent concert by Marine band. Then had supper together at Carvel Hall and at 7 P.M [[red underline]] Celine [[/red underline]] left with train for

Washington whence she took night train for New York
Oct 14. Again beautiful weather
Took in gasoline to fill all our tanks (at 35ยข a gal.) and drinking water at a well protected and easily accessible wharf near ill smelling oyster and crab canning shed. Small repairs and supplies. Is also station No. 2 of Capital Yacht Club and is a "Rudder" Station.
[[red underline]] George Roll [[/red underline]] came aboard from Yonkers, about 9 AM. He and Lewis went sightseeing till 1 P.M. when lifted anchor and proceeded down the bay. Magnificent weather
Made [[red underline]] Drum Point Light, near Solomon's Island [[/red underline]] after dark and had to steer cautiously after red and white sectors according to chart indications
