Went to May's office at 2:30 P.M. Neither May, nor Swan, nor Gordon nor Hall, [[strikethrough]] noe [[/strikethrough]] nor anybody in.
Went again at 4:20 P.M.

May then dictating to Miss von ?.. Told him the whole situation of Dane Molding Co as I see it. Stayed with him till 5:30 P.M. then to University Club for supper.
Nov 24. A busy day here dictating letters to Fuller and directors etc. while Fuller and George Roll are arranging new budget revised and considerably reduced.

Nov 25 (Thanksgiving) Celebrated thanksgiving. [[red underline]] Celine [[/red underline]] and Nina were able to come downstairs. Our Japanese cook had prepared a beautifully ornamented cake. So beautiful that nobody had the courage to eat from it from fear of spoiling such a work of art. [[red underline]] Little granddaughter [[/red underline]] present at the end of the feast
