Afternoon went to Mr. Brunton's office then got check cashed for $500.00 at The National Bank. Then Brunton drove George and myself to [[red underline]] Museum [[/red underline]] where saw fossils being mounted also different ways of mounting animals etc for museum. Wired order to buy 100 shares Anaconda at [[red underline]] 30 [/red underline]] and 100 Southern Pacific at 90 g. until canceled.
Dec 24. Went shopping with George to buy Christmas presents.  Then we lunched together at hotel. Then had a long talk with him in my room all

afternoon. [[strikethrough]] It looks [[/strikethrough]] where I told him some of our late business problems etc. It will take him till next June before he gets thru his course He seems quite satisfied with Golden its School of Mines and his professors which gives me great pleasure. Weather milder it thaws.

Pretty prosperous well kept little place Houses small but well built and comfortable. Buildings of School of Mines make good impression.
