Oct 2 (Sunday) Went to fetch Prof. Cavalier, his wife and daughter at Glendermere Hotel (103d street) and motored them to Snug Rock for dinner then afternoon drove them over New Rochelle back to New York.
Oct 3. At home all day busy with income tax data for last year.
Gothelf in his work on transparent bakelite for permanent colors. shows me some samples with 40 hexa + phenol + 40 terfinhydrate made [[red underline]] 5 years [[/red underline]] ago which have kept very well. No cracks
