Left about 9:00 AM destination Honga River port Hooper Straight's Lighthouse. Cautious following of beacon and buoys brought us to excellent anchorage near Wingate Point Dock, where Baltimore steamer lands. Water very clear. Can pick out oysters by means of clam rake and we got a few dozen. Saw many large crabs but they do not bite. Water too cold? Whole country around is low, with here and there some pine woods
