at 10 AM. as per appointment Waited there until 10:45P.M when Brown arrived and made profuse apologies telling somebody called him at the phone and kept him longer than he expected Then he told me following story Van Vleck at his insistence (after Frank L. Dyer had tried to buy controlling interest [[strikethrough]] for Redman [[/strikethrough]] of Condensite Co for Redmanol company) bought up available shares at $150 per share of common and thus secured controlling interest saying it would be a good business for his sons. At that time K. Brown's son was doing the accounting at a yearly salary of $2400 Shortly afterwards Van Vleck installed his own son to do this work at a salary of $7400 (or 4700)
