Now suddenly Van Vleck announces to Brown that he has given an option to Kasper for his controling interest at $130 and that the option will undoubdetly exercised because the sale at $130 was calculated at the book assets and the latter are lower than the real assets

I understood that the exercise of the option depends entirely on the confirmation of the book assets after examination. Brown says that Van Vleck took the step behind his back without asking his advice or consent. That if necessary he can furnish testimony that Van Vleck had acquiesced to enter into the arrangement proposed by us.  Then with an expression of indignation he told me that he was mad to see his honor as a business man jeopardized by an action of this kind. That he did not know yet what to do
