Returned with George home for supper, he has one of his former fellow students with him for supper. After supper before open fire they and George Roll had many yarns about Golden School of mines days, mining yarns. December 30. It ocurred to me yesterday that we have been much too liberal in our estimate of bonus and fees and that we will make it to our direct disadvantage in [[strikethrough]] establi [[/strikethrough]] establishing [[strikethrough]] the ratios [[/strikethrough]] our ratio of distribution of stock in the merger and furthermore will make it more tempting to Karpen to try to obtain a majority of the stock and controling interest in the new company by purchasing at a fancy price some of the stock of the smaller stock holder of the General Bakelite Co. Explained this later to Hays who immediately grasps my point of view. Hamman and Schleussner agreed to
