May 27. To N.Y. early. Went to see some motor cars etc.
[[black underline]] May 28.(Sunday). [[/black underline]] Bought an Franklin Sedan Car for Celine and tried it this morning. Afternoon Prof. Cavalier and his wife came for visit drove them to Nina's house. 
Nina is in New York. [[red underline]] George Roll [[/red underline]] entered hospital yesterday.
Took the Cavaliers for supper at Longue Vue for supper.
May 29. Went to N.Y ^[[office]] to see Frankel about investment of surplus funds also consulted Hays. [[strikethrough]] Went for lun [[/strikethrough]] Took Nutting to lunch at Col. Un. Club. I went for supper to Yonkers.

May 30 (Decoration Day). Home all day except trip in the morning with motor car to see Ion.

Afternoon spent in writing letters and notes.
May 31. Home all day doing work here relating to G.B. Co. [[red underline]] George Roll doing well. [[/red underline]] Long letter to La Bakelite about possibility of organizing International Co. and urging postponement of sending their representative until terms are [[red underline]] more propitious. [[/red underline]] 
Evening had Jackson McKee and Barnau (Exchange professor of Holland) and here for supper 
Went to fetch them with car at Columbia. Very pleasant evening
