While at anchor Lewis found finally why cylinder 3 had no compression. Valve left maladjusted. Went for anchor over night at Mantoloking. using a vacant mooring near club. Excellent anchorage in about 6-7 feet of water
July 19. The Seabury children came aboard. Dickey ^[[(12 years)]] is very handy with sailboats and a real smart boy. His brother Eddie barely 5 is a dapper little chap who handles a 14 foot row boat [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] from the shore to my boat. Surf bathing also in the ocean on the other side of the narrow strip of Dune land. Evening went to visit Theodore Peters Mosquitoes very bothersome

July 21. Perfect weather. Went out with Seabury's sailboat "Hawk" up the Metedeconk River sailing. Afternoon took in gasoline on Ion.
July 22. Took the whole Seabury family to Toms River Village Pretty little harbor. with a little park full of flowers Pretty residences with water front near by. Harbor too crowded with all kind of boats. River well buoyed Let them all off and proceeded
