Mailed everything from Yonkers by registered letter to "Mixed Claims [[underlined in red]] Department" Dept. [[/underlined in red]] of State. Washington. Feel very tired after a strenuous day.
Dec. 20. [[underlined in red]] Kirk Brown [[/underlined in red]] had called me up yesterday about hour of Executive meeting today. Told him we did not need him at first part of meeting. He said [[underlined in red]] he wanted [[/underlined in red]] to be there just the same to submit some matters. Told

him he was not a member of executive committee. that we wanted first to discuss some matters of policy amongst ourselves before submitting them for further discussion or acceptance at Director's meeting and could not be interrupted by other matters. That whatever other matters he had to present would be presented and discussed in second part of the meeting in the afternoon.
