[[red underline]] Spanish looking houses with Spanish tile roofs. [[/red underline]] Arrive [[red underline]] Marseilles. [[/red underline]] 9 AM.  Drove to Hotel Louvre-Paix  Price of single room with bath 35 frcs = ($2.15) + tips.

Room would look better if some of the [[red underline]] ill kept furniture [[/red underline]] were not covered with faded plush.  Bathroom O.K.  Prices in general decidedly less than in Paris. Streets very crowded. [[red underline]] Marseillais [[/red underline]] shows more evidence of the [[red underline]] Eastern-Jewish type Eastern Jewish smells in streets.  Less politeness than in [[/red underline]]
