Near this place where we are tied along the banks of the Nile [[red underline]] plies a little one sail ferry, donkeys, [[/red underline]] men and women wade thru the water and jump aboard, then by skilful use of current, sail, poles, and paddles they manage to cross the placid Nile [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] doing a brisk business.
When our boat leaves the uniformed crew push her off the bank with poles, and as usually sing or chanting Da-dee .... [[strikethrough]] Dadee [[/strikethrough]] Da-dee .... etc.
Restful scene along the River then beautiful sunset. - The [[red underline]] banks of [[/red underline]] the Nile are a [[red underline]] long narrow oasis, surrounded by [[/red underline]]

Boat proceeds until night then stops along bank till next morning.

[[red underline]] Skin bags as water containers. Women gracefully conveying stone jugs to or from the River. - Sugar factories.
