[[left margin]] There are 2 small ways for  Yachts on the beach at Cannes and one on La Croisette near by. [[/left margin]]
then about as many sail yachts mostly British schooner rig or ketch or cutter. One or two French. One Portuguese from Funchal and one American [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] Schooner, the latter for sale (belongs to Drexel?)
Engaged a small [[strikethrough]] sail [[/strikethrough]] open sailboat (double ender) with a sprit sail much patched up on main mast, a little jib on a movable bowsprit and a little jib. handed jigger aft The formidable name of the craft is "Ocragan" and its "Patron" gives me much information about everything. Wind rather slight [[strikethrough]] but we [[/strikethrough]] and contrary but as there is no tide to bother with in the Mediterranean, we get at Isle de Lerin's by making a few tacks and where I take lunch under the pines at
