The double-ender construction of hull allows to carry much sail aft, because lateral resistance is about evenly distributed between bow and stern.  Those which have a flat stern ^[[on deck]] have double end hull just the same  They sail fast and close to the wind.  Grapling anchors used here same as on the nile - no stock on anchors.  Eyes where sail slips over yard are saved with leather.
