Went to visit the store cellars of [[red underline]] Gonzales, Pryass y Compania [[/red underline]] - or their so called "Bodega" where the finest Sherry wines are produced.  (See Baedeker) They gave me as a guide a young man [[red underline]] Rubin [[/red underline]] is his name who learned his English in Albany where he studied 2 years at a business college.  The wine is not made there but stored and bottled  He made me take several samples from enormous casks where old wine is kept.  The most imposing set is a row of huge barrels called each by the [[red underline]] name of one of the Twelve Apostles, [[/red underline]] [[strikethrough]] and the in the [[/strikethrough]] all carved and ornamented amongst which stands the most imposing bar-

rels call [[red underline]] "Jesus Christus" [[/red underline]] near by is also the barrel called [[red underline]] "Noah". [[/red underline]] All their wines are kept [[red underline]] for the Royal family but I was allowed [[/red underline]] to taste them liberally.  I find that the best sherry available in the open trade is called: [[strikethrough]] Solera "Solera [[/strikethrough]] [[red underline]] "Solera 1847" [[/red underline]] it is rather dark as Madera but tastes better
I cabled ^[[yesterday morning]] to [[red underline]] Celine [[/red underline]] to wire me here to let me know at what date I should be back for pending patent suits or other matters.
