English Native oysters are excellent, decidedly better than French Marennes.  Enormous Scotch Crabs the biggest crabs I ever have seen. Larger than large California crabs.  Look like Florida Stone Crabs but much much bigger the inner body [[strikethrough]] almost [[/strikethrough]] sometimes 10"-12" diameter not counting the enormous pinchers or legs. Excellent. Went to Drury Lane Theatre a very good performance giving the life of

the actor Keane of Drury Lane, well played. Paid 13 shilling + 1/6 sh tax for best orchestra seat or about $3 1/2. Saw a number of Americans but many seats empty. 
Best plays I have seen in London are two American plays which had quite some success in New York. One: "So This is London" drew full houses here every night. The other: "Merton of the Movies" also performed first in New York was excellent but was not so well understood by the London public which could hardly follow the American conditions.
