Nothing possible at present on account of low price of vegetable oils. Bataille process a very serious competitor Visited Mrs. Baskerville to report about what Lockwood said Returning home heated second barrel with an electric heater During night it started and foamed over
[[underline]] Sept 13 [[/underline]] I am not quite sure that George B. has given a thorough examination to the possibility of locating our new offices in Grand Central Station. So went to visit them with Schleussner and George Roll and went in all

details with them. At 3 P.M we met further at Schleussner's office to talk over pending matters and report further. Then I went again over the ground to see whether we could get some accommodation or another [[strikethrough pram [[/strikethrough]] ^[[in]] present office building - All in vain. Have to wait till next May which is out of the question.
Sept 14. Reported to Schluessner about office situation. [[strikethrough]] He [[/strikethrough]] and asked him once more whether he consents to Park Avenue location He says yes. Told George Roll to go ahead and close the lease Lunch at Chemists Club. [[strikethrough]] Dr [[/strikethrough]] Hendrick and Mrs. Hendrick there. Back home with 3:10 P.M train. Jim & Franck Picking ripe grapes for to morrow.
[[underline]] Sept 15. [[/underline]] Beautiful but cool day. Crushed grapes and set them to ferment. Rather too cool.
