Dec. 13. - A man, Meacham, came to our office with a Radio outfit - called Pinkatone, which requires no storage batteries and no aerial.  Everything in a little box.  Bought one for $130 wholesale price, took it home in motor car. Same evening tried it, and stayed up listening till 11 P.M. - Wonderful.

[[underline]] Dec. 12 [[\underline]] Briggs here all morning explaining about ^[[Life]] insurance policy till I am woozy. - Needed a rest so went to see the afternoon performance of "A Nervous Wreck."
This evening Celine is out at a meeting for Prospect House benefit week, and I was

in my study room old love-letters of Celine written about 1/4 of a Century ago. Splendid girl, same splendid noble spirit [[strikethrough]] to day as [[/strikethrough]] then as today.
Dec. 14  All morning at Townsend's in conference with him, Barns, Brickenstein and George B in relation to pending litigation.
Dec. 15.  At Yonkers all day listening on my Radio. Evening went to lecture of Roy Chapin Andrews on his expedition in Mongolia. Excellent talk and unusual photos.
Dec. 16. (Sunday) At home all day listening in Radio. Evening [[strikethrough]] Houden[[/strikethrough]] Oudin and H. de F. Baldwin here for supper and to taste my home brew - wine.
