A link chain might permit to steer from top of deck house if desired.
In galley has a ship mate stove but heated with a kerosene-primers burner in place where coal is usually put.
His awnings are too frail and too low for comfort. Deck has a light but strong sail all around and is netted so as to avoid flying objects to be carried away by the wind. Stern over-hangs. For dimensions see Lloyds Yacht register.
His engine runs very smoothly and stands very accessibly. His petroleum tank for stove stands on deck behind deck house. There is a hatch opening on deck above engine and the entrance

hatch to crews quarter opens nearly above galley.
Lazareth no enclosed in and very accessible and cleanly kept. Engine much lighter and more compact than mine. Deck house ^[[floor]] is sunk about 14" below deck thus diminishing headroom but that part is used for storage and drawers and partly for end of beds so it does not matter. On of the sitting benches in deck house (on starboard is exactly high enough to allow head room for corridor on starboard which connects cabins with engine room and crews quarters and galley.  
Deck is canvass covered.
