Hotel is lighted by means of a small [[red underline]] Delco generating set. [[/red underline]] There is a small bath tub and W.C. in a shed below. Food and service very poor, but every room in hotel is taken
March 11. Left early with Ford for [[red underline]] Dunn River and Roaring River Falls [[/red underline]] which I passed last night
Took a swim on the excellent sandy beach where [[red underline]] Dunn River Falls [[/red underline]] pour into the sea. A charming primitive place. As it was early in the morning [[strikethrough]] no oth [[/strikethrough]] I was all alone. Luckily for I had no bathing suit. Undressed in one of the two palm leaf huts constructed for this purpose. Beautifully clear water on the beach

Then [[strikethrough]] near by [[/strikethrough]] immediately near by the falls in 3 successive cascades of [[red underline]] Dunn River [[/red underline]] over 3 lime stone natural steps. So that after bathing in the sea on gets a wash in fresh water 
Then drove to [[red underline]] Sir John Pringles [[/red underline]] place to visit [[red underline]] Roaring River Falls, [[/red underline]] situated about 1 mile inland. Sir John is dead since 2 years. Am told he was a very rich planter but sold out for 5 Million Dollars to one of the fruit companies, which was a very high price, but he invested his money so disastrously that in a few years lost everything and died almost penniless
