at Sigma Xi lecture given by young Bragg on Structure of Crystals. Lecture rather below expectations

[[/underline]] Early at office Evening to [[underline]] Columbia Faculty Club dinner to hear [[/underline]] Dr. Butler to talk informally about the history of Columbia University. - A very interesting talk. Enjoyed every word of it. Drove home with old Dr. Stevenson, Fink, Jackson, and Estabrooke.
Oct 16. Early to office. Took 11:50 AM train for Easton Pa. to be present at celebration in honor of [[underline]] Dr Hart. [[/underline]] Wiley, W H. Nichols, Venable, Hillebrandt, Munroe and Bogert there
Evening banquet at Country Club.
