[[underline]] Mrs. Aylsworth [[/underline]] came to see me about noon to talk about [[underline]] Kirk Brown [[/underline]] and her husbands patent for phenol manufacture
Told her that as far as I knew [[underline]] Dow [[/underline]] had not been successful with it.  Brought a [[underline]] gallon of home- [[strikethrough]] wine [[/strikethrough]] made wine for Pupin's dinner [[/underline]] at Columbia University Club. Afternoon went to ION to try her speed with new engine in Hudson River along measured statute mile near Riverdale Station. Marvelous mild and pleasant weather. Very little wind, strong tide.
