Went aboard [[underline]] Fushimi [[/underline]] at 3 P.M a very hot drive. [[underline]] Basin and wharf is about 1½ ^[[mile]] from hotel in quiet place. Good substantial docks & basins. [[/underline]] I find my [[underline]] cabin is very small and is near the [[/underline]] panel protecting the [[underline]] smoke stack. [[/underline]] But there is an [[underline]] electric fan. Ship is well kept [[/underline]] about 10000 tons. Passengers mostly Japanese
