Monday Dec. 21. 1925  1
Yesterday morning Dick drove me to Penn. Station 9:15 train for Savannah. Train well filled up but had a lower berth engaged several days ago. Same route see former Journals. Service good but train 1 hour late Arrived Savannah in a violent pouring rain which started early this morning. Went to [[underlined]] Savannah hotel [[/underlined]] for luncheon then a nigger drove me in an old touring car which could take in my heavy trunk to [[underlined]] Thunderbolt at [[Elvigren?]] Boat Yard [[/underlined]] Emptied trunk and sent it empty back to Yonkers. [[underlined]] Ion [[/underlined]] looks spick and span well painted and varnished. Three
