When arriving in [[underline]] Biscayne Bay [[/underline]] it was sunset. At the initial crossing several stakes had been run down by careless [[underline]] barge tows [[/underline]] Much trouble to find channel in the dark and many times had to retrace to get out of shoal water. A boat nearby, fast aground. Finally squeezed past a dredge and anchored overnight in middle of Biscayne Bay which middle I selected purposely so as to [[underline]] escape the mosquito [[/underline]] bites which made my steering more difficult while we were within short distance of [[underline]] Mosquito covered shores.[[/underline]]
