Delightful weather calm. 
At 1:15 P.M. left under power and arrived 5 P.M. at [[underline]] Long Key where found bunch of all  accumulated letters. [[/underline]] Very cold weather and blizzards at home.

Feb. 17. [[underline]] Easterly [[/underline]] gale blowing but well protected. Waited till about noon then proceeded under jib & mizzen with wind abeam, making good time. Dropt anchor [[underline]] Coconut [[/underline]]

Henry [[underline]] Howard and the "Alice" gone for Key West and Cuba. [[/underline]] Stack of letters and telegrams "San Sui" and "Swanee" and
"Evangeline", "Melody" and "Sunset" and Herreshoffs pleasure all at old anchorage. Also
