[[underline]] April 2. [[/underline]] Calmer and colder about 60°F, but sunny and pleasant and moderate seas. Westerly. Ship makes 21.8 knots. The [[underline]] little youngsters running about everywhere [[/underline]] making noise and crying aloud. [[underline]] Why do parents [[/underline]] travel about [[underline]] with little [[/underline]] children; or if they do, why do they not keep them out of some of the [[underline]] social rooms [[/underline]] where passengers [[underline]] come to read or converse or rest. Our four little [[/underline]] brats are distributed over every room [[underline] except the children's [[/underline]] [[strikethrough]] room [[/strikethrough]]

Schleussner in Europe. Redman in Chicago. [[underline]] Long conference with George B then Hays. Discuss situation of [[/underline]] Bantlin ^[[Bantlin]] stock with him and other situations. Lunch Century then supper U.C.
