Evening had our little dinner at our usual table of [[underline]]University Club.  Dr. Henry van Dyke[[\underline]] of Princeton, [[underline]]Bridge,[[\underline]] Peet.
[[underline]]Sept 23  Petersen[[\underline]] left yesterday to find out damage on ION after the devastating [[underline]]hurricane[[\underline]] in [[underline]]Florida.[[\underline]]  Celine, and Celine Roll and Ninette Roll back from camp.  [[underline]]Celine's knee[[\underline]] is almost [[underline]]entirely in good shape.[[\underline]]  She walks amost normal, danger one.  [[underline]]Bakelite trade-mark[[\underline]] suit, evidence being taken at office.  Supper at University Club.  Home at 9 P.M.  [[underline]]Frederick[[\underline]] Swarts has just returned from his round trip.

here for supper with [[underline]]Frederick. Nina[[\underline]] and [[underline]]Cornelia[[\underline]] still in camp.  Drove with [[underline]]Frederic[[\underline]] to SS. [[underline]]Zeeland at 9 P.M.[[\underline]] was back here at 11.30 P.M.  Very sultry and warm.
[[underline]]Sept 25.[[\underline]]  Warm & sultry day.  Spent all morning writing letters to [[underline]]Bishop[[\underline]] & [[underline]]Damard.[[\underline]]  Hays is away so cannot consult him so consulted [[underline]]Schleussner[[\underline]] and [[underline]]Geo B[[\underline]] who entirely accept my [[underline]]recommendations as to letter[[\underline]] I wrote [[underline]]to Bishop,[[\underline]] on regard of [[underline]]Damard, Modensite, Pinchon[[\underline]] & [[underline]]Johnson,[[\underline]] and Ferguson.  During the night violent rain and electric storm and weather turns cool.
[[underline]]Sept 26.[[\underline]]  Unusually cool but sunny.  [[underline]]Petersen[[\underline]] sires from Florida that [[underline]]ION has wonderfully escaped[[\underline]] with [[underline]]relatively[[\underline]]

I use past tense 'underlined' with a 'd' because that is my understanding from the instructions. It seems a waste of time to edit just to remove the 'd' in 'underlined'. If I review and the transcriber just uses 'underline' I do not add the 'd'
