at Charing Cross station about 10 P.M  Walking thru the deserted street before Metropole hotel met only one other man, and he called me by my name it was [[underlined]] Hornsey of the Chemists [[/underlined]] Club in New York now residing in London. He took me to his flat nearby and we remained talking [[underlined]] chemical [[/underlined]] matters and travelling [[underlined]] experiences [[/underlined]] till 11 P.M. This was [[underlined]] a busy but successful day. [[/underlined]]
[[underlined]] Nov. 28 [[/underlined]] (Sunday) [[underlined]] Wrote long letter to George explaining present situation [[/underlined]] Damard etc also sent [[underlined]] cablegram [[/underlined]] reporting about progress and requesting [[underlined]] postponement annual meeting [[/underlined]] to between Christmas and New Year. Told [[underlined]] Frederic Swarts [[/underlined]] increase my Christmas gift to my sisters and to his sister so as to make it 100$ each

All morning studying [[underlined]] bye-laws [[/underlined]] of [[strikethrough]] New Da [[/strikethrough]] new company drawn up by [[underlined]] Perkins. [[/underlined]] Find them very good need very little alteration. 
All afternoon writing and further study of Bye-laws a very busy day
[[underlined]] Nov. 29 [[/underlined]] Long conference [[underlined]] Perkins [[/underlined]] going over details or proposed Bye-laws and a few alterations I [[underlined]] suggest. [[/underlined]] Bye-laws now must be passed upon by [[underlined]] Kingsbury [[/underlined]]

P&J now want to pass on new bye-laws Perkins & Kingsbury object to this. I see no harm provided they cannot veto them.

This afternoon [[double underlined]] Bishop [[/double underlined]] again took up matter of [[underlined]] compensation. [[/underlined]] 
He says he wants to give up his present business and give exclusive attention to business of Bakelite and notify his company in Montreal as soon as possible. He says his private business and Redmanol give him now a net income of 3750£ = [[underlined]] 18750$.!! Kingsbury [[/underlined]] at present gets 250£ = 750$ and Potter 1250£ = 
6250$. He suggests we ought to give Potter 2000£ and Kingsbury 500£
