[[underlined]] Dec. 2. [[/underlined]] Visit of [[underlined]] Graesser [[/underlined]] at 9 AM at hotel. Had short talk on general situation. To [[underlined]] Bishop then to Damard. [[/underlined]] Afternoon went to see an American film "The Scarlet Letter", [[strikethrough]] excellent [[/strikethrough]] in a large ^[[new]] theater in Oxford Street. [[strikethrough]] Everybod [[/strikethrough]] Film was excellent so was music, but [[underlined]] atmosphere impossible everybody smoking women included [[/underlined]] I felt [[underlined]] inclined several times to run away. [[/underlined]] Seats narrow and uncomfortably packed altho' they made me pay [[underlined]] 8 shillings! [[/underlined]]

At 5 P.M joined M. T. [[underlined]] Perkins [[/underlined]] at his office in the [[underlined]] "Sanctuary" [[/underlined]] discussing some of the points relating to the pending contracts on which he is working diligently to have everything ready by [[underlined]] Saturday morning. [[/underlined]]
[[underlined]] Dec. 3 [[/underlined]] Pleasant morning long walk while waiting for [[underlined]] Perkins. [[/underlined]] [strikethrough]] Must [[strikethrough]] Had conference with [[underlined]] Potter and Kingsbury [[/underlined]] on pending matters, [[underlined]] we are getting along nicely with the two and with Swinburne - mutual trust and faith in each other. [[underlined]] Damard has already rented large office space [[/underlined]] below several separate rooms, same building where [[underlined]] Swinburne has offices [[/underlined]] below and where [[underlined]] Kingsbury will make his mailing address [[/underlined]] in London 
So that both will be handy for consultation. Rental about 200£ a year, will [[underlined]] enable to keep permanent exhibit. Good location among engineering centre. [[/underlined]] Furthermore [[underlined]] Bishop can keep his own offices [[/underlined]] near
