He told me their [[underlined]] oil company in Trinidad had its first well drilled and was producing a 1000 barrels a day. [[/underlined]] Told him he had the rare distinction of being [[underlined]] astride two industries where the U.S. leads the world, bakelite and oil. [[/underlined]] Then drove away after supper. Stopped at University Club for getting some cash. Train leaves at 8:35 P.M. for Miami and arrives there Monday morning 8:30 AM. Two nights and one day. - Weather was mild today. Train too warm. Train not crowded as last year. Few upper berths taken. Slept tolerably well.
