Afternoon interrupted in my letter writing by visit of [[underlined in red]] Karpen wanted to talk me further about purchase of R&H stock [[/underlined in red]] Expressed himself ^[[again]] [[underlined in red]] very bullish about future of Bakelite. [[/underlined in red]] Told him [[underlined in red]] am willing to head or join syndicate [[/underlined in red]] for buying R&H stock either for [[strikethrough]] company or for [[/strikethrough]] Bakelite Corporation or for [[strikethrough]] Comp [[/strikethrough]] Syndicate.
Very warm all day, and promised rain does not show
