Took him to University Club for luncheon long chat about China etc. Evening went to dinner in honor of Wilson, Chandler Medallist at Columbia.  Then listened to his lecture on the Chemistry of Leather.
[[underlined]] Dec. 8. [[/underlined]] [[red underlined]] Harry Peters, R & H Williams Jr., Rogers [[/red underlined]] and other all have sent their proxies [[red underlined]] with very complimentary letters to me. [[/red underlined]] Contrary to my expectations R&H and Carveth have sent in their signed proxies also, altho Schleussner is not included in the Proxy holders list.

I was placed next to him at the dining table, so we had plenty of opportunity of renewing acquaintance.
